How much do the visits cost?
Your diagnostic evaluation with My Psychiatric Partner costs $150.00, and includes both the initial 30-minute videoconferencing (webcam) visit and one in-person physical office visit with your clinician, if required. The in-person visit is only required if it has been determined during your videoconferencing visit that a controlled medication will be prescribed as part of your treatment. Each follow-up 15-minute visit after that (either by webcam or telephone) costs $50.00.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do accept healthcare savings accounts (HSA) cards as well, but to pay using those please contact our administrator to have her process payment and schedule your visit instead of attempting to do it online yourself, as we have to process those using a different payment system.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not. My Psychiatric Partner is an affordable, cash-pay service designed to eliminate the hassle of insurance company prior authorizations, co-pays, deductibles and balance billing. Our goal is to keep the cost to you low (essentially the price of an insurance co-pay), save you time, maximize convenience by eliminating travel and office wait times, and decrease your stress by eliminating these barriers. We feel you should be able to get help when you need it, on your own terms, and not when and where your insurance company decides to allow it.
When do I pay?
All payments are made in full and processed before your appointment can be scheduled.
What if I wish to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Please Contact our Administrator at 855-677-1677, ext. 102, to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit will be fully refunded.
Am I able to submit an insurance claim to get reimbursed for the visit?
No, not at this time.
